I'm alive!!!
Wow. I almost wondered if my password would work when I logged on. Sorry folks for the lack of posting, but this Cowgirl has been incredibly busy with LIFE.
Too much has happened in the last month to have a picture and a story for it all, so I will just have to update y'all with a list of fun facts.
- 30 days until I become Mrs. Texas.
- I am the proud mama of 5 beautiful kittens. 2 Black, 2 Stripey and 1 Orange. 2 different Mommas.
- Over the last two and half weeks prior to this weekend, I have spent nearly every free moment that was not spent working or taking care of animals at the ranch, making trips back and forth to the hospital.
- 2 different immediate family members were in the hospital during that time. 1 planned. 1 unplanned. 2 floors apart. Texas and I were party hoppin', fer sure.
- Lots of hours logged on the tractor since my trip to Colorado in May. From when the Sun peaks over the Sierras until it hits too high in the sky for me to handle, I've been plowing.
- I don't actually plow, I scrape Manure (cow poo poo) from corrals.
- I think I've gone through an entire box of face masks in attempt to not breathe in El Poo Poo.
- Texas and I have made many delicious meals. We are getting pretty good at the whole kitchen thing. The best so far has been our Cheeseburger Pizza. Mustard, Ketchup, and BBQ Sauce with everything on it that would find on your standard Cheeseburger - including dill pickles. Uh- may- zing.
- Texas and I have been brushing up on our dancing skills in preparation for the wedding. It's been a lot of fun, and I even think we may be getting pretty good.
- I'm officially old. Like, and old woman. I wake up, my body aches. I walk around, my body aches. I sit down, my body aches. I go to bed, my body aches. I hate being 25.
- Texas and I are getting ready to celebrate our anniversary on Saturday. :)
- Recently reconnected with a special person in my life.
- Officially ordered my first item with my soon to be new last name on it. Weird. But also, AWESOME.
- I'm so glad my future last name isn't as wild as my current one. Grade school was not fun. Where do kids come up with these names?!
- Princess Jade is doing well. Fat after her layoff from her arthritis discovery, but we are still trying to train for barrels and see what happens within the next few months.
- Getting the final touches done for the wedding. So. Soon. So. Excited.
- 27 days until I am in the best state. EVER.
- P.S. Johnny Depp, you better have left some fun for us Creede.
